Where are your bows made?
Each and every one of our small-batch, heirloom hair bows are designed and made by me in my Adelaide foothills-based studio.
Our bows begin their life as a thoughtfully chosen variety of natural fabrics - beautiful quality cotton, linen and Liberty of London fabrics are sourced from my suppliers in Adelaide and Australia-wide. Our fabric is then gently washed, pressed, then cut and sewn into strips used to produce our bows. Each hair bow is hand tied by myself and carefully secured to a headband or alligator clip, and lovingly packaged onto our beautiful bow cards before heading off to you.
Do you offer a gift wrapping service?
Yes we do! It's a little hard to find, but you will locate our Gift Wrapping option on the "Your Cart" page. Just scroll all the way to the bottom, and tick the box. Your orders will arrive absolutely beautifully wrapped in our signature Maileg gift wrap, with ribbon and a little gift card. I'm happy to write a little message too.

ORDERS & SHIPPING
What is your current shipment processing time?
Our current processing time for orders is 1-3 business days. If you need your order by a certain date, please feel free to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How much is postage?
Australia: I ship your orders via Australia Post. It is a little more expensive but much more reliable!
The cost of your order will be calculated at the checkout. With some exceptions, orders under $20 will ship free. Orders over $20 and up to $200 will ship for $10 and orders over $200 will ship for $15. An express post option is available for $15 per order.
Everywhere Else: A flat rate of $25 will be applied for all orders placed outside of Australia. International orders are shipped via Australia Post and include tracking.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship anywhere a postman will go!
How fast is shipping?
Domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post and typically arrive within 2-5 business days from when they are scanned. An Express Post typically arrives within 1-3 business days depending on your location. An e-mail (with tracking for Express Post if selected) will automatically be sent to you when your order has been shipped.
International orders typically arrive in 7-14 business days; however, please allow up to 4 weeks for international shipping, as your order will need to clear customs and may be processed through multiple shipping carriers. At this time, tracking for International orders is limited.
I'm local, do you offer contactless delivery?
We do offer a home delivery option for those of you who live in or near the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. If you’re local and would prefer to save on postage (and pop another bow in your cart!) please select LOCALDELIVERY at the checkout, and we will deliver to your address within 48 hours of your order being placed. If you need your order super quick, email us: email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you accept returns/exchanges?
We want you to love your products! If you change your mind about something you ordered, you may send it back for a refund or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and a brief description of the item(s) you wish to return, and we will get back to you within 2 business days. Items should be unworn, unused and in their original packaging. Refunds will be processed after receiving the goods at our end. Sale & custom items will be considered FINAL SALE.
